I'm most excited about the CEO of LabViva giving a very direct talk about how they're taking on Amazon. He's disrupting the life sciences industry with the marketplace model, and using his expertise as a scientist as a central part of LabViva's platform business. Many companies shy away from discussing Amazon directly, and Siamak Barhaloo is not shy about this.

Take the Accor Hotel group, they are literally building the next generation of procurement. Now that's quite an amazing challenge. Earlier this year I joined Nati Harpaz, CEO of Catch Group on stage at Retail Week Live where he shared their phenomenal story. With Amazon’s entry into the Australian Market, Catch Group set an aggressive goal to go from 1 to 100M€ GMV in year one on their marketplace. Catch now have 800 sellers on their platform, but 4000 who want to join. It’s a lesson in how to scale but remain selective.
